Faces of One
What is around the corner,we may never know.
Yet we waste time staring in the darkness,
for a face that may never show.
We know the expression on the face for which we are searching,
for every moment of everyday in our dreams it is lurking.
The curiosity to find it cannot be rationed,
for the desire behind it is a deep, honest passion.
Lives have been spent in valiant search of this goal,
and on the face of the travelers it has taken it's toll.
Though their search and it's efforts would not be in vain,
There is a path to the grail that is easier to attain.
So let it be known,
that I declare this quest done.
For if you look in a mirror,
you shall find the one.
